Football 2015-16 Season - Cup Fixtures

Arthur Terry has a great record in both league and cup football competitions!  When the 2015-16 season starts in September our teams will once again be aiming to reach the cup final stages and add silverware to the sports trophy cabinet.  The draws for both the Birmingham Schools Cup and District Schools Cup competitions have been made; the opponents for each of our teams in the respective competitions are listed below.

Wallace-Steele selected for England Under 14 development squad!

We are delighted to announce that a year 7 student at Arthur Terry School has been selected to join the England Under 14 Basketball development squad!

Pharell Wallace-Steele (pictured below) has earned himself a place in a development squad of 20!


The squad are due to meet during the summer holidays to train. All at Arthur Terry wish Pharrel the very best on luck and congratulate him on his selection...a superb achievement!

Arthur Terry PE Students Record Best Results Ever!

We are pleased to announce that last year's Year 11 GCSE PE cohort achieved the best results the department has ever seen!

The 2015 cohort of 44 students completed the course culminating in the 80-mark exam paper back in June. 100% of the students passed the course, with an incredible 91% of students achieving an A-C! (21% above the national average for last year's GCSE)

20% of the cohort managed to achieve an A*-A, again beating the national average of 19% in this particular measure.
